Playa Flamenca Information

Here are links to good sources of information about Playa Flamenca and the surrounding areas.

Buses
There is a new local bus service which passes through many urbanisations.
Route 1, the "blue" line, goes from the Town Hall Playa Flamenca to Campoamor via La Zenia, Villamartin and La Fuente.
Route 2, the "red" line, goes from the Town Hall to the Torrevieja hospital via La Florida, Dream Hills and Los Altos.
I reckon it would be a good fun just to travel on it to see what you can see.
I don't have info on how much it is though.

Local bus information.

There is another bus through Playa Flamenca on the N332 roughly every other hour. It stops at the Town Hall, which is near to Mercadona and the Maxx gym. The service you want is to and from Alicante and Cartagena.
It passes through Torrevieja as well. On the timetable Campoamor is nearest to Playa Flamenca, about 5 minutes towards Cartagena.
I think the cost is about 1 euro and 10 cents to Torrevieja.
I hear there is another bus - called the D bus - which runs from the Punta Prima roundabout (stops behind the Torrejoven Hotel) to Torrevieja every hour, but I have no further information about it.

Coach Trips
There is a company which gets very good reports called Coachtrips SL, otherwise known as David's coaches. It has a variety of trips, both day trips and longer ones. Coachtrips SL

Free Local Newspapers
There are several free weekly English language newspapers for the Costa Blanca area.
Here are links to the online versions. The Round Town News and the Coast Rider.
As well as the news these have loads of information such as local market days and useful telephone numbers, as well as the TV guide.

You can find ideas for kids and teenagers, and for outdoor activities which include sailing and surfing, scuba diving, bike hire, quad safaris and a nature park.
You can also find the many Theme parks in the area.
